Workshops & Professional Training

I offer workshops and professional training for therapists, organisations, and professionals who work closely with people — especially in complex, emotional, and relational contexts.

My work brings together trauma-informed practice, cultural awareness, and an embodied, relational way of being — both with ourselves and with those we support.

Who this is for

This work is for:

  • therapists and therapy students

  • social workers and public sector professionals

  • organisations working with people in vulnerable or complex life situations

  • teams who wish to deepen emotional awareness and relational understanding

Cultural Awareness & Working Across Differences

This work is also shaped by my own lived experience of moving between cultures, which informs how I understand identity, belonging, and difference.

For therapists, students, and professionals working with diverse populations

This training supports a more conscious and sensitive way of working across cultures.

We explore how culture, identity, and lived experience shape emotional expression, trauma, and the therapeutic relationship.

There is space to reflect on your own positioning — your assumptions, blind spots, and the subtle ways these can show up in the work.

The intention is not to “get it right,” but to become more aware, present, and responsive in the encounter with another human being.

The Compassionate Piece

For therapists, organisations, and professionals working with people

Compassion is often spoken about as something we should offer — yet in practice, it is rarely something we can simply choose.

In this workshop, we explore compassion as an embodied experience.

We look at what happens when we are touched, overwhelmed, or triggered in our work — and how we can begin to stay with ourselves in those moments, rather than moving into fixing, distancing, or shutting down.

This is an invitation into a slower, more attuned way of meeting both yourself and the people you work with.

A space where understanding deepens, and where presence becomes more available.

My intention: this work cannot be rushed — and does not aim to fix, but to allow something real to be met.

How I work

My approach is experiential and grounded in Compassionate Inquiry (CI), developed by Dr. Gabor Maté.

I work with a strong focus on the body, the nervous system, and the relational space — allowing what is present to be felt, not only understood.

I guide participants into a process where reflection, awareness, and direct experience come together.

Formats

Workshops can be offered as:

  • Half-day sessions

  • Full-day training
